Looking for the best Michelin Star restaurants in London?
With the huge variety of restaurants representing different cultures in London, we are willing to bet that it’s the world’s capital city of fine dining. Over 60 gourmet venues are Michelin Starred setting the competition exceptionally high; not many other cities have that claim to fame!
Unlike the current political climate regarding the ‘B’ word, London’s diverse mixture of cultures shines through its restaurants with plenty of vibrant cuisine options.
If you are on the hunt for one of the most luxurious, impressive meals in London, look no further, as you are about to discover a few extraordinary dining places to book next.
Japanese – Dining SW3
The food served here represents a new style other than the traditional Japanese Izakaya style of cuisine. A modern European twist added to Japanese tapas, sushi and sashimi served with the freshest seafood, will have your senses heightened as soon as you walk through the door. Quality and innovation are at the heart of SW3 fine dining experience.
This place combines a comfortable, friendly atmosphere with high-quality service. SW3 is a glossy sushi bar with a relaxed atmosphere and stylish interior design of dark wood, rose gold lamps and rather cute tiles on the floor.
If you are a sushi fan, this place can not be missed. Enjoy contemporary Japanese cuisine with unapologetically chic, high-end dishes. A great place to consider if you are looking for a glamorous setting for your private event.
Peruvian – COYA
There is no denying that Vegan food is making a permanent place for itself in the food industry. Restaurants had to react quickly to win over customers with clearly marked menus. When it comes to Michelin-starred places, last-minute alterations to perfectly refined dishes is not always an easy task, but worth the creativity to remain afloat.
COYA Mayfair is one of the few restaurants in London that has mastered a high-end vegan menu for its customers. It serves a contemporary cuisine of Peruvian food alongside Spanish, Japanese and Chinese influences in its ingredients. All these exciting flavours bring together a truly unique experience.
October is the month of pumpkin dishes, and it is a signature plate in COYA that one must experience. Also voted as one of ‘London’s best brunches’ by Vogue, one of the best plant-based fine dinings in the city, COYA is your new vegan go-to.
Russian – Mari Vanna
Mari Vanna, probably the most authentic and famous Russian restaurant in London. From the moment you arrive, a feeling of stepping into a slightly glam living room of a wealthy Russian family sweeps over you. They have thought about every detail; notice books of Russian literature, French lace, crystal from St. Petersburg, stacking dolls and elaborate chandeliers; you will leave feeling as if you have actually visited Russia!
The menu offers time-honoured Russian Classics such as Borsch soup, Olivier Salad, Pelmeni or the beloved Beef Stroganoff.
No wonder, Mari Vanna, the most amazing old-fashioned Russian cooking restaurant, is the ‘’Best New Design’’ – Time Out award winner. Don’t forget to make a stop at the restroom as part of the memorable experience; you’ll be transported back in time with Russian folk songs and old pull-chain toilets.
Italian – Circolo Popolare
Probably one of the most Instagrammable food experiences out there. Not only will the food make you come back, but beautiful plates may get more likes than any other picture you’ve posted!
Circolo Popolare brings the Sicilian coastline to London with its bite-sized dishes in Mediterranean style. Some Italian food lovers out there may recognise dishes like Arrabiata and Sfoglia Norma, La dolce vita at its very best. Homemade gelati of pistachio flavour is my personal favourite, but you also may like a signature dessert of a lemon meringue pie.
How many bottles are too many? This restaurant is remarkable for its interior with 20,000 bottles displayed on the walls. It is a huge space with plants and cheeky accents, oh so typical of the Italian character.
French – Noizé
Noizé is amongst one of the top French restaurants in London. Despite having their impressively long list of wines, they permit customers to bring their own bottles with a modest corkage fee. Noizé is a place to note down in case you get a bottled gift and want to share it over dinner.
Having been around for less than two years, it has already gained a well-respected reputation and recognition. It brings a rustic interior with wooden floorboards, and a combination of blue and sage colours, adding a classy and elegant touch to the place.
Beautifully cooked traditional French flavours styled in seasonal dishes and bold combinations of food and matched wines are offered as the accent is on the immersive and authentic experience of flavours.
