Well what to do in Moscow after a long day on your feet? Olga and I got back to the hotel and decided that we should try out the Espa Spa facilities. You know what we found? A haven of relaxation. It really is world class.  The mixture of heady scented candles and soothing music make you start unwinding as soon as you arrive there and then you can really take your pick from the bubbly colour changing spa swimming pool, to the steam room, to the wet room, to the ice fountain to cool off, and eventually back to the beautifully appointed changing rooms.  We emerged feeling cleansed and lovely.

So onwards and upwards for dinner, to a Acadamia a cosy Italian bistro type restaurant just a short walk around the corner from the hotel.  I’ve been there before and the food is excellent and the ambience great.  We started with the smoked meats with parmesan and followed it down with medallions of fillet mignon in a green peppercorn sauce, truly yummy.

And finally back to the hotel Sky Bar for a final glass of wine, we couldn’t go out on the terrace though because its raining stair rods.  Lucky we were out there last night 🙂
