So last week was such a fun week. No lets start again…..So last week was such a busy, hard working week. That’s better!
The lovely Leah and I headed up to London to Olympia National Hall for the set up for our stand at The Office Exhibition. Ryan had done some lovely graphics and the stand looked great. The show is for PA’s EA’s and VA’s to source new suppliers. What’s a VA I hear you ask? It’s a Virtual Assistant, yes they do exist (I always expect them to disintegrate ‘beam me up Scottie style’ while you are talking to them) but then I’m just silly. Anyway at 10am on the Tuesday, the doors opened and I’m not joking, 4,000 people walked in! Leah and I never stopped talking for two days! What do you mean, thats not difficult for me! Luckily for us, Sarah Pinfold of Alexander & James who we had met at the PA Club was there with a stand full of lovely special client gifts, but the best thing was that she had Kanji Jesse their Star Mixologist there making cocktails….delicious! Especially the one called the Working Lunch….what!!
Second evening saw us lucky ladies invited by our good friend Andrew who just to be the MD of Executive PA Magazine, to join his team and all the lovely nominees for the Executive PA of the Year Awards. Held this year at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden.
So Leah and I cast off our working girls clothes, put on the glitz and headed for the party 🙂 What a cool place to hold a party, the tables were set in amongst an array of vintage London Buses, the lighting was pretty amazing and the food was delicious. We met some lovely ladies that evening and huge congratulations to Katrina Arratoon who was crowned 2014 Executive PA Magazine PA of the Year.
So as I said, a very hard working week for the girls. Cheers!
